Collection: Rainer Grebe

The Berlin-based author Rainer Grebe spent his childhood in East Berlin. Because he was not allowed to attend a grammar school in the GDR for socio-political reasons, he completed his Abitur (university entrance qualification) in West Berlin. After studying at a university of applied sciences, he worked in human resources and healthcare management.

He considers himself a true Berliner and stands for the values of tolerance and solidarity. He began his writing career in 2016 with the storybook "Der Grenzgänger".

AKRES Publishing - The publishing house for history, antiquity, society and archaeology

As a specialist publisher with a fiction product line, we publish literature related to history, art history, antiquity, contemporary history and archaeology. It is always our concern to relocate small and large issues alike and to acknowledge them appropriately.

Working closely with authors and editors, we encourage the publication of revised and updated new editions. With history and classical studies literature from different countries and in several languages, we cross historical borders and bring the international readership a whole lot closer!
