Collection: Antje Rößler

Berlin-born journalist Antje Rößler loves classical music and travelling. She combines both in her professional work. She writes for the arts sections of daily newspapers such as “Freies Wort” and “Märkische Allgemeine” as well as for music magazines such as “Das Orchester” and “neue musik zeitung”. Her grandfather, a talented amateur pianist, came from Meiningen.

She studied musicology, sociology and philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She spent a year in Kansas City on a Fulbright scholarship and hosted music programmes on Radio La Grande in Trujillo (Peru) and Jazzradio 101.9 Berlin. From Berlin, she travelled to various countries to report on festivals and premieres.

AKRES Publishing - The publishing house for history, antiquity, society and archaeology

As a specialist publisher with a fiction product line, we publish literature related to history, art history, antiquity, contemporary history and archaeology. It is always our concern to relocate small and large issues alike and to acknowledge them appropriately.

Working closely with authors and editors, we encourage the publication of revised and updated new editions. With history and classical studies literature from different countries and in several languages, we cross historical borders and bring the international readership a whole lot closer!
