Renata Petry studied law in Göttingen and Hamburg and worked as a lawyer for many years. Since 1994, she has published successful historical novels and crime novels. Today, she lives on the Danish island of Ærø, where she is intensely involved in linguistics, prehistory, early history, and archaeology.
