Über den Autor

Der 1994 im syrischen Homs geborene Samer Al Najjar lebt heute in Deutschland und studierte Germanistik und Politikwissenschaft an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. Samer Al Najjar schreibt zwischen zwei Sprachen und Kulturen und verwandelt Erfahrungen von Syrien, Exil und Zugehörigkeit in eindringliche Literatur. Seine Romane verbinden psychologische Nähe mit den großen gesellschaftlichen Fragen unserer Zeit.
